If you are having difficulty opening any JAC Invoice, it can be downloaded to your computer and opened from there. To do so,
JAC is phasing in “Online Billing Submission” to include the JAC Invoice form, so the printable JAC Invoice will not be needed. As the billing is submitted online, the JAC Invoice will be created and signed electronically. During this transition, JAC will maintain the printable JAC Invoices on this page until the transition is complete. For fast and easy invoice submission, JAC invites CAC attorneys to utilize our new “Online Billing Submission” on JAC's “MyJAC” secure web site. JAC Invoices phased into the “Online Billing Submission” will be notated below and will not need to be printed and scanned for “Online Billing Submission”.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The printable JAC Invoice forms below are only to be used for Pro Se cases, Appellate transcripts, or other extraordinary circumstances where using JAC's “Online Billing submission” is not feasible.
Full Rate Sheets are Downloadable PDF files. PDF files may be viewed with the latest free Adobe Acrobat Reader® .
Select a Circuit to view or download as the full Circuit Rate Sheet in PDF format.
In limited circumstances, JAC may prepay for airline tickets and hotel rooms for ordinary witness travel. Prepayment of travel expenses is generally limited to capital death cases. The procedures for arranging prepayment are set forth in JAC's Policies and Procedures for Private Court-Appointed Counsel; Indigent for Costs Counsel; and Capital Collateral Private Court-Appointed Counsel (Section V(C), page 39).
JAC requires that the order authorizing prepaid travel, the request form, and all necessary information and required documentation for prepaid travel be submitted to JAC via pleadings@justiceadmin.org at least ten (10) business days prior to travel.
For further information, see the Prepayment of Travel Expenses section in JAC's Guide to Reimbursement for Travel Expenses.
